E.CSENSOR
This instrument can measure the electrical conductivity of any solution continuously. The EC sensor has numerous applications in research and engineering, with common use in hydroponics, aquaculture, aquaponics, and freshwater systems to monitor nutrient levels, salts, or impurities in water.
Conductivity measurement applications Conductivity measurement is a versatile tool in process control. Measurements are simple and fast, and most advanced sensors require little maintenance. The measured conductivity readings can be used to make various assumptions about what is happening in the process. In some cases, a model can be created to calculate the liquid concentration. The concentration of pure liquids can be calculated by measuring conductivity. Predetermined curves for various acids and bases are commercially available. One of the advantage s of measuring concentration based on conductivity and temperature is the superior speed of in-line measurement compared to an online analyzer.
